Nigeria: Insurance PHB launches new logo

A new logo has been launched by Insurance PHB, a subsidiary of Bank PHB, after acquiring Guardian Trust Insurance (GTI), during the recapitalisation exercise in the Nigerian insurance industry.
Mike Ajukwu, Chairman, Insurance PHB, said the acquisition of GTI was to redefine and re-engineer the insurance industry and with the hope of making Insurance PHB, the top 3 insurance companies in Nigeria.
Ajukwu added that with the help of the appointment given to KPMG by the parent company, Bank PHB, Insurance PHB has been positioned with qualities that would announce it a leader in the insurance sector.

Nigeria: Igbobi College Marks 76th Anniversary

The National Publicity Secretary of the Igbobi College Old Boys Association (ICOBA), Mr. Yomi Badejo-Okunsanya, has made public the plans of the Association to mark the 76th anniversary of the school on February 2nd, 2008 in Nigeria.
The anniversary would take place at the Canon Parker Chapel, Igbobi College,Nigeria with a communion service on Saturday, February 2nd, 2008 and a thanksgiving service at the same venue on Sunday, February 3rd, 2008.
Badejo-Okunsanya added that the anniversary would also feature awards to Governor Raji Babatunde Fashola (SAN), Lagos State Governor, Dr. Leke Pitan, former Commissioner of Health and Education in Lagos State, Mr. Babatunde Dabiri, former President of ICOBA and outgoing Managing Director of Sterling Bank.
