Following the untimely death of the Governor of Yobe state, Governor Mamman Ali, the National Economic Council (NEC), has postponed their meeting till February 12, 2009.
The Vice President, Jonathan Goodluck, who is presiding over the president who is on vacation, declared that the meeting which was supposed to hold between the President, Vice-president and the 36 state governors, be postponed after the death of Ali was made public.
