The Senate concurred with the House of Representatives on Thursday to approve N102,270,744,683 as the 2009 Supplementary Appropriation Bill, with the money taken from the Consolidated Revenue Fund.
On July 27, President Umaru Yar’Adua requested N99,426,514,684 additional expenditure for the year ending December 31, out of which N96,026,514, 684 is for recurrent expenditure and N3,400,000,000 capital expenditure.
