Amunich Court in Germany yesterday imprisoned two executives of telecoms giant Siemens for giving 10million euros bribe to some top Nigerian government officials.
Former financial head of the firm Michael Kutshenrenter bagged two years jail and the other unnamed official, one-and-a-half years.
Kutschenrenter was also fined 160,000euros and the unnamed official, 40,000 euros.
They were also convicted for committing the same offence in Russia and Libya.
In 2007, 20 managers of regional telecommunications companies in Russia received bribes from Siemens executives worth 2 million euros, according to the Munich court ruling.
