A cross section of youths, numbering over 10,000, at the weekend, participated in a sensitisation lecture, tagged: “Youth advocacy on the deregulation of the downstream sector,” under the umbrella of Coalition of Nigerian Youths, in Abakaliki, the Ebonyi State capital.
The programme, with the theme: “Subsidy reinvestment and empowerment programme,” had in attendance various youths organisations from the south-eastern states namely National Youth Council of Nigeria(NYCN), Moslem Youths organisation, Christian Youth Council(CYC), among others.
