Nigerian Guild of Editors, Sunday, condemned the destruction of lives and property in the country and called on the Federal Government to improve on its intelligence gathering to pre-empt continued killings of innocent Nigerians by the Islamic Boko Haram sect.
The guild in a communiqué after its 2012 first quarter Standing Committee in Sokoto State, also sympathised with families of victims of various acts of violence and terrorism in which many professionals, including journalists, have lost their lives.
