Suspected armed robbers yesterday raided three banks in Offa, Kwara State and carted away millions of naira. The affected banks, according to sources are First Bank, GTB and Skye bank.

The state Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), ASP Dabo Ezekiel, confirmed the incident.

Eyewitness told reporters that the robbers stormed the banks around 1pm. It was gathered that the robbers gained entrance into the banks after they overpowered security men at the main entrance of the affected banks.
