Panasonic Commissions Service Centre in Ikeja

Matsushita Electric Industrial Company, manufacturer of Panasonic electric has commissioned its Ikeja Centre.Besides, the company has also launched a world-class 103 inches Plasma display panel into the Nigeria market.
Speaking atu the commissioning, the Commissioner for Commerce and Industry, Prince Adeniyi Oyemade commended the company for establishing its presence in the state with the new investment.
This development, the commissioner said, would not only engendered employment generation, but also enhance wealth creation. In order to encourage the likes of Panasonic, Oyemade said that the Lagos State government has continue to provide enabling environment for industrial development in Lagos State.
To make Lagos State a commercial centre, he said a huge sum of money has been committed for the establishment of Lekki Free Trade Zone to occupy over 16,000 hectares.
He, therefore, called on every citizen, especially, corporate bodies, to contribute to the development of the state by fulfilling their statutory obligations to government.
Speaking also at the occasion, the General Manager of Corporate Management Division for Middle East and Africa, Mr. Iwao Tsutsumi explained that the Viera 105 inch plasma display was the biggest TV in the world.
The service center is equipped with the state of the art diagnostic tools like digital gas leakage detectives, digital temperature thermometers, automated gas refilling machines etc.
Speaking in the same vein, Mr. Bhojras Rupani of Binar Traders Japan said that the center from time to time, would host experts from Japan to train Nigerians to service and maintain all ranges of Panasonic brands through the company’s quarterly technical seminar.
Gamatronic Limited, Manufacturer of UPS, DC systems, Remote monitoring applications and custom power system, has unveiled its plans to organised a forum aimed at equipping discerning business managers.
According to a statement from the company, the two hour forum scheduled for August 4, in Lagos would enable business manager get acquitted with world class Gamatronic power solution, leaving them with a better choice in their backup power infrastructural strategy.
He added that a workshop has also been scheduled for the technical personnel of the company’s customers and those of intending customers.
The workshop, he added, would be facilitated by Gamatronic International support manager to enable customers gain competence in optimal operation and first-level maintaining the equipment.
