Abeokuta Widows Receives MoneyGram Red Buckets

In a way of giving back to its host communities, MoneyGram International recently presented its Red Bucket welfare to about 200 widows in Abeokuta, Ogun state, Nigeria.
Each Red Bucket given to each widow contained food stuffs such as; rice, semovita and groundnut oil; with the aim of helping them with their basic needs.
Mrs. Joke Giwa, Nigeria Director for MoneyGram International, explained that the gesture was in respect of the corporate social responsibility of the worldwide instant money receiving system.
Present at the event were; Mrs Titilayo Ajanaku the Chief Special Adviser to the former President Olusegun Obasanjo on Women Affairs and Youth Development and Alhaji Ambali Ishola, Representative of State Commissioner for Women Affairs.
