Access Bank Introduces Visa Card for Transaction

In a bid to assist the Central Bank on Nigeria (CBN) in re-positioning Nigeria to a cashless society, Access Bank Plc has introduced a Visa card to enhance easy and burden less transaction among customers.

The Visa card tagged “Access Bank Visa” is an internationally accepted product which comes with several features including about 40days interest free rate. The product which is collaboration between the bank and the global owners of the visa brand gives all its holders equal benefit.

Austin Edoja, Head of Corporate Communications, said the product is a 21st century banking system and would benefit both individuals and corporate bodies. Corporate bodies will no longer experience cash difficulty when sending a staff on course.

Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the bank, Aigboje Aig-Imoukhuede was able to arrive at the product so as to enable Nigeria keep credit record of organisations and individuals.

The card comes in different forms and capacity. The classic card is form $500 to $5000, the gold card is from $5001 to $10000, the platinum card if from $10001 to $15000 and the corporate card.

The corporate card enables Access Bank to provide a corporate credit account for an Organisation and give subordinate card to the staff.
