CloseUp Rewards Salsa Dance Winners

Unilever LogoDeola Lasisi and her partner, of the just concluded couple dance tagged “fresh challenge” initiated by Close Up brand of toothpaste could not believe it when the Unilever the manufactureresof CloseUp toothpaste gave them N800,000 each amounting to N1.6 million and a home theatre electronic set each for emerging as winning couple of the competition.

The dancing competition which saw competitors from different states of Nigeria such as Calabar, Abuja and Jos, came to an end as couples from Lagos emerged winners of the Salsa dance.

Deola, a student in Lagos and the daughter of a former Nigerian light weight boxing champion, Joe Lasisi, and her partner Justin Ezirim expressed their joy and gratitude to CloseUp for the prizes and helping them to discover their potentials through the competition.

With the introduction of Salsa dance competition by Close Up, many good dancers now hope for the next Salsa dancing competition. They see it as a way of meeting more people and exploring the dancing potential in them.

Salsa dance has been a dance of ages which has its history back in Africa but has been accepted world wide from generation to generation through its flexibility.
