Costain West Africa to Re-Launch Brand on Dec 12

A leading construction company in Nigeria, Costain West Africa Plc, has announced plans to re-launch itself back into the Nigerian market and introduce the new management of the company as it organise a re-launch party in Lagos on December 12, 2007.

The company which has been in existence since 1948 and became a public limited liability company in 1974, was responsible for constructing such projects as the tallest building in Nigeria which is the Nitel building on Marina in Lagos, Ashaka Cement Company in Bauchi, Central Bank buildings in Lagos and Sokoto and the recent Tamburawa water Treatment works in Kano state.

Mr. Kola Karim, deputy Chairman of the company, stated that the management intends to take the company beyond its current position and elevate it to another level in the construction industry of Nigeria and international.

The event would host several personalities from all fields in the country and the festivities would include an audio-visual presentation by the Chairman of the board of directors of Costain, Mr. Philip Wharton, Managing Director on networking opportunity for clients and a springboard to promote the new image of the company.
