Five top trades on NSE today

The floor of the Nigerian Stock Exchange was full of activities today as the insurance sector led trade in volume of shares.

International Energy Insurance Plc sold 226,662,491.00 volume of shares valued at 229,899509.17 in 682 deals.

It was preceded by NEM Insurance Plc which sold 68,582,679.00 volume of stocks, valued at 179,590,824.89 in 421 deals.

Third on the queue was Skye Bank Plc which sold 46,775,879.00 volume of shares valued at 812,160,260.88 in 280 deals.

Others are Equity Assurance Plc, in 326 deals sold 39,724,563.00 volume of shares valued at 80,154,788.85.

Oceanic Bank Plc, sold 38,353,410.00 traded in 333 deals at the value of 1,093,250,608.99.
