HP To Hold Forum for Nigerian SMEs

HP LogoHewlett Packard (HP) Nigeria is to hold a forum on the 25th of October 2007 in order to counter the challenges facing the Small and Medium Businesses in Nigeria.

The Lagos forum which would take place at the Lagoon Restaurant, Victoria Island would be a follow-up to the Art of Small Business launch which featured customers, and HP’s commitment towards addressing and investing in small businesses. The forum took place at the Museum of Modern Art in San Francisco on March 28, 2007.

Managing Director of HP West Africa, Dr. Lloyd Atabansi described the small businesses as heroes of today’s economy. He said HP has partnered with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) like the Microsoft, Oracle, Cisco and Starcomms’ (telko) to specifically target the small businesses in Nigeria.

HP products cover IT infrastructure and global services. The company provides a wide range of its products in Nigeria.
