Intercontinental Bank’s 20th Anniversary Promo Draws Debut in Kano

In continuation of 20th Anniversary celebrations and in recognition of the loyalty and patronage of its customers over the past two decades Intercontinental Bank Plc will kick-start its customer rewards promo draws in Kano on June 30.
Group Chief Executive of the Bank, Dr. Erastus Akingbola had said at the various 20th Anniversary Customer Fora of the Bank that the 20th Anniversary Promo draws are Intercontinental Bank’s way of celebrating its customers and bringing to climax the months-long celebrations which has been running since February.
According to him, “The superlative performance of our bank over the years could not have been possible without your patronage. This is why this Promo is our way of saying a Big Thank You to you our ever-loyal and supportive customers – the major reason for our successes over the years.”
The Bank is appreciating all customers in a reward spree with various gifts ranging from refrigerators, plasma TV sets, DVD player, water dispensers, travel cooler bags among others.
The bank, he said “is backing up the reward spree with a jumbo anniversary promo, where 20 Toyota cars and 160 motor bikes will be given out to deserving customers. The first draw for this promo will come up later this month in Kano. All the customer needs to do to qualify for the jumbo promo, is to open an account, increase the balance by N20, 000 and leave it for 30 days, while existing customers only need to maintain same balance for 30 days.”
The draws will be held across different parts of the country and winners are expected to emerge from each region.
The promo is in furtherance of the Bank’s Happy Customer, Happy Bank business philosophy and is part of its overall strategy of ensuring that every contact it makes with the customers is a delightful one.
The Bank had started the anniversary reward early in February with a gift for every customer that visited any of the Bank’s branches across the country. The second phase was marked by hosting the customers to a dinner in several locations across the country in addition to high profile gift items meant for the winners of its anniversary bonanza, which marks the third and final phase of the 20th Anniversary celebrations.
Speaking about authenticity of the draw, the Bank’s Head of Product Development, Mrs. Chinwe Uzoho, said “The draw is done electronically, so the winners are selected through an open selection process to be witnessed by members of the public. Also the draw is certified by Price WaterhouseCoopers (PWC) who are independent auditors to the draw.”
She added, that Intercontinental Bank Plc blaze the trail when it started the Happy Savers Promo, which recorded resounding success last year. In the Happy Savers Promo, the Bank gave out 18 Honda Cars and 180 Motorcycles to its customers.
