Kapital Insurance rebrands

In its determination to lead the Nigerian insurance industry, chief executives of the industrial sector, insurance managers, top government officials and well-wishers of Kapital Insurance Company Limited will today assemble at Kaduna for the official unveiling of new logo and brand identify of the company.
These are part of the repositioning profile initiated by the board and management of the company to build an influential insurance brand with strong national presence and deep local roots, where the latest technology meets the highest professional standards, to create a world class insurance in Nigeria and beyond.
With authorised share capital of N7 billion, with paid-up capital of about N6 billion, shareholders’ fund of N6.37 billion and total assets of N7.02 billion, the company has concluded arrangements to be listed on the floor of the Nigerian Stock Exchange, having concluded a successful private placement, which was over-subscribed. Besides, the company is banking on the support of Unity Bank acquisition of 51 per cent equity participation to strengthen its operations.
The Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer Alhaji Mohammed Kari, said that, “the unveiling of our new logo and brand identity is our commitment to assume the leadership position in the industry.”
“We intend to be a leader not only by providing good quality service, we see Kapital in the next 24 months taking the lead in this market. “The impact of Unity Bank entry through Bancassurance synergy into Kapital Insurance will enhance the distribution channels via the multiplicity of the bank’s branch networks will greatly engender the confidence of its customers in the company’s products and services as insurance desks will be opened in all branches of the bank to render insurance services to the customers nationwide.”
