Nigeria: Skye Bank Sierra Leone Limited Begins

As part of its drive to dominate the West African sub-region, Skye Bank Plc, has commenced operations with its subsidiary of Skye Bank Sierra Leone Limited.
Mr. Kayode Akinyemi, Head of Corporate Affairs of the bank, explained that the new branch in Sierra Leone will offer its innovating products and services which it is noted for in Nigeria while its ‘customer first service’ will not be let down.
Akinyemi added that new bank will partner with the government of the country in order to empower the citizens as well as contribute to their economic development.
In his own contribution, Mr. Olumide Olatunji, Managing Director and Cheif Executive Officer, Skye Bank Sierra Leone Limited, said the new subsidiary is an additional acheivement to the bank while plans to establish other other offshore subsidiaries are in process.
