Skye Bank Updates Healthcare Delivery in Niger State

As a way of giving back to its host community, Skye Bank Plc has put smiles in the mouth of the people of Niger State by supplying its General Hospital in Minna with quality medical equipments and renovating the Children’s Wing of the hospital. 

Mr. Akinsola Akinfemiwa, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the bank, said the service rendered to the state is part of Skye Bank’s corporate social responsibilities. He said will continue to deliver quality services to the people of the state. 

Akinfemiwa added that other plans for the people of the state, is to invest a housing development and mortgage, open more branches and establish more Automated Teller Machines (ATM) to reduce time spent by customers. 

Dr. Muazu Babangida, Governor of Niger State, lauded the bank for its gesture towards the betterment of health delivery in the state. He said his Organisation will partner the Bank for the development of the state and called on other corporate organisations to emulate Skye Bank. 

However, Dr. Isah Yahaya, Commissioner for Health, Niger state, thanked Skye Bank and promised that the supplies would be used well by the Niger State Ministry of Health.
