Spring Bank Wins 2008 Education Award

One of the leading banks in Nigeria, Spring Bank Plc, has been awarded at the annual Lagos State Educational Award for its tremendous support to the education sector of the state.
Dr. I.G Gabriel, Director of the Lagos State Educational Award, said the essence of the award is to recognize and acknowledge the impacts of corporate organizations in the development of potentials through education in the state.
Dr. Tunji Sobodu, General Manager and representative of Dr. Suleman Ndanusa, MD/CEO, Spring Bank, said the need to transform the educational sector of the country prompted the bank’s support.
Dr. Tunji added that the future of any country does not only depend on its mineral resources buts majorly on its present education status.
