Vitafoam Launches More Products, Opens Ogudu, Allen Centres

As part of its efforts to reinforce its leadership position in the foam and allied products sub-sector of the Nigerian market, Vitafoam Nigeria Plc, has introduced its exclusive range of foam products. The products which are designed to give extra cushioning effect to the body are truly one of its kind.
The new array of products was showcased to the media and select guests at Ogudu and Allen Avenue Vitafoam Comfort Centres in Lagos on Thursday, June 18, 2009.
In his address at the occasion, the Managing Director/CEO of Vitafoam Nigeria Plc Dr. Dele Makanjuola stated that the essence is to educate the general public that Vitafoam is not about foam and mattress but a brand with a wide array of products that delivers Vitality and Comfort.
He went on to add that the preoccupation of Vitafoam has been on how to consolidate its core business with the introduction of innovative value added products and services. The Company, he added, has carved a niche for itself in the industry by its offer of a vast array of high and superior quality products that present the customers multiple choices.
The Special Guest of Honour, Prince Adeniyi Oyemade, Commissioner for Commerce & Industry, Lagos State, who was represented by Mr. Lateef Kaka, the Director of Commerce of the ministry poured accolades on Vitafoam and commended the efforts of the management of the company for the initiative and congratulated them on the achievement.
Oyemade said the array of products reflects the importance the company accords the consumers of its products in Nigeria. Vitafoam, he stated, is renowned for initiating innovations and expanding the frontiers of quality control in the foam and allied products industry.

Also speaking at the event, the Chairman, Vitafoam Nigeria Plc, Chief S. O Bolarinwa, represented by Mr. Bashir Adetonmiwa Lasisi, a Director, of the company re-affirmed the company’s commitment to delivering quality products and value added services to its teeming customers. The company is by this launch event today re-invigorating its one-stop-shop concept, the Vitafoam Comfort Centre, a model of selling foam products in the neighbourhood. He stressed.
“The comfort centre concept was borne out of our findings that quote a number of people who make foam decision often leave the choice of foam product type/quality to either the driver or one form of help or the other. This is because most foam shops are located in crowded market places and may not present the convenience of accessibility”.
He said the comfort centre is replete with products for the sleeping, standing and sitting comfort of the consumer and went to list some of the lifestyle products to include Vita rest, a mattress when fully stretched out provide the usual comfort at sleep that Vitafoam is noted for. Also available is Vita leisure specifically designed mattress/mat that can be folded into a compact form.
