Wema Bank Empowers Ado Ekiti with N30m Maternity

Wema Bank Nigeria logo As a result of its social responsibility commitment, a leading financial institution in Nigeria, Wema Bank Plc, has empowered the Oke Iyinmi town of Ado Ekiti, Ekiti State, with a maternity centre and renovation of another block with a total sum of N30 million.

The bank recently built a building of 11 rooms which include; 1 lying ward, Nurses’ office, Doctors’ office, injection room, 2 labour rooms, 2 out patient rooms, 1 pharmacy and 2 other card rooms as well as 10 modern day toilet facilities.

In addition to that, the bank transformed 7 different rooms within the maternity complex to a modern look.

Mr. Tunde Olofintila, Head of Corporate Communications, said the donation is part of the bank’s commitment to empowering its immediate environments. He said the bank would continue to give assistance to the neglected in the country.
