Not less than 158 students completed their secondary school education with joy at the Global International College (GIC) in Lagos recently as they also prepared for their University educations in various schools of the United Kingdom.
As a result of the school’s partnership with some institutions in the UK, the students have been given admission at the Universities of Bedfordshire, Porthsmouth, JMU, Birmingham, Hertfordshire, Hull, Dundee, Middlesex, Essex, Huddersfield, Debreceen, Nottingham and East London.
Mr. Theo Theodorou, the school’s Director of International Studies, thanked the parents of the graduants for their supports in giving their children quality education, which he believed has placed them for tertiary admission abroad.
Theodorou urged the students to maintain the discipline which has been imparted into them as they go abroad, in order to show gratitude to their parents and good examples of GIC.
In her contribution, Mrs. Abolaji Osime, Director of admissions advised the students to shun violence and other social vices they may encounter abroad. She added that the image and culture of Nigeria should be their concern as they pursue their goals.
On behalf of his colleagues, Oluchukwu Chiazor, the overall best student of the year, promised not to disappoint GIC in their career and pursue for knowledge.
