National Fleet Safety Manager & Regional Fleet Safety Managers

RESPONSIBILITIES

Must ensure that company fleet meet corporate safety standards in line with the Road Transport Safety Standadization Scheme

Ensuring that risks arising from driving are recognized and reduced to minimum levels

Determine fleet safety strategy, policy, procedures and standards

Coordinating regular training and retaining of drivers and other stakeholders

Establishing and maintaining key performance indicators and accidents/incidents recording systems

Organizing appropriate control measure for complying with legislation and other requirements

Manage and develop annual fleet safety budget in association with country management team

REQUIREMENTS

Extensive knowledge of basic accident investigation techniques

Ability to communicate effectively in English both orally and writing

Effective auditing, investigating and root cause analysis skills

Excellent presentation skills with ability to train and influence others

The National Fleet Safety Manager should have 7-8 years experience, preferable in the food & beverages industry (5 of these at middle management level)while the Regional Fleet Safety Managers should possess 5 years experience within a manufacturing or related environment

Applicants for both post should have relevant degree in automobile, mechanical or electrical engineering and valid commercial driver’s license
