  • Job Objective/ Purpose of Job: Lead the Company Capital Marketing/Stock broking team in trading and dealing on the floor of the NSE for clients
  • Department/Division/ Unit: Capital Market

REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS:

  • Functionally Reports To: Chief Operating Officer
  • Administratively Reports To: Chief Operating Officer
  • Supervises: Analysts

WORKING RELATIONSHIPS:

  • External: Clients, SEC, NSE, CSCS

Job Duties/ Responsibilities/ Accountabilities:
Operational Responsibilities

  • Research financial markets, working closely with investment
  • analysts who report on how companies and markets are performing
  • Manage and review clients’ investment portfolios
  • Advise and counsel clients on appropriate investments,
  • Gather information about client needs and financial ability, and determine the best investments for them.
  • Floor trading, clearing and settlement procedures.
  • Respond to client queries
  • Keep clients informed about their investments
  • Increase client base through marketing and presentations on company products and services
  • Verify and recommend payment to stock broking clients
  • Floor trading
  • Preparation of daily jobbing sheet
  • Bonus and dividend tracking for clients
  • Purchase of allotment documentation
  • Reconciliation of clients mandate with transactions in their account
  • Preparation of script receipt
  • New Clients documentation and Accounts setup
  • Processing clients payment
  • Liaise with CSCS for reconciliation

PRIMARY MARKET ACTIVITIES

  • Collation of offer documents
  • Making Return to the Issuing House
  • Collection of Brokerage
  • Collection of Certificates & Return Monies
  • Processing verification of certificates with the Registrars interface between clients and registrars
  • Allotment/Transfer forms to registrar
  • Preparation of proposals
  • Preparation of Company Capital’s Trading list \ Templates
  • Metastock update
  • Update of certificate verification status
  • Share transmission

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

  • Education Qualification: A good degree in any subject
  • Professional Qualification: Chartered Stockbroker
  • Experience: 6 years experience in a similar position
