WaterAid Floats Job Opportunities in Abuja

WaterAid is a UK based international development agency dedicated to the provision of safe water, sanitation and hygiene education to the world’s poorest people. We support local organizations to manage low cost, sustainable projects and also provide policy support to secure the right of poor people to affordable water and sanitation services.

To effectively implement our country strategy, WaterAid Nigeria is inviting applications from suitably qualified candidates to fill the following positions:

Policy Research Coordinator

Candidate will lead WaterAid’s policy and advocacy research and build the skills of our staff and partners in the area of evidence-based policy research with emphasis on budget-tracking . He will play a central role in promoting transformation and accountability in the water and sanitation sector.

Candidates are expected to have excellent organizational, analytical, problem-solving, people management and communication skills. He will possess 5 years work experience in policy and advocacy with knowledge of the budgeting process and the water, sanitation and hygiene sector.

Senior Finance Manager

Candidate will coordinate analysis of financial information and prepare financial reports to guide senior management. He will lead team that maintains WaterAid’s accounts, advising our staff and partners on financial policies and procedures.

Should possess a minimum of 5 years experience as an internationally recognized accountancy professional and strong people management skills to our team.
