According to The Punch newspaper, 23 persons including 10 Indians, two Ghanaians and 11 Nigerians, were arrested by the Nigerian Navy for illegal oil bunkering in Bayelsa State. The suspects who were arrested with the products on board two vessels, MT EVE and MT ASHKAY, in Akasa and Sangana rivers have been handed over to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission.
