A 17-year old Nigerian girl, Tosin Omosebi, has emerged as the first person to have their play staged at the 900-year old setting of the Westminster Hall, House of Parliament, England. Omosebi who is a schoolgirl in London emerged tops in the National Theater’s New Views play-writing competition beating hundreds of other youngsters in the process. The play, “Rewrite” which was set in a mental institution and has been described as darkly comic is Omosebi’s first play.
