Tragedy was on Monday (today), averted in Kano State as operatives of the anti-bomb squad successfully detonated a bomb buried close to the GT Bank on Murtala Mohammed Way in the state. Spokeman to the police in Kano Police, ASP Musa Majia told SaharaReporters by phone that the bomb disposal unit of the Nigerian Police in the state were mobilized to the area after the police was alerted to a suspicious package around 1:30 p.m.
