According to The Punch newspaper, the recommencement of flight operations by Dana Air and Chanchangi Airlines, as well as the coming on board of a new carrier, Med-View Airlines, have crashed airfares on domestic routes to about 50 per cent. An hour flight ticket which sells for an average N32,000 before the return of the airlines now sells for N16,000. Further investigations revealed that domestic flight tickets now go between N14,500 to N25,000 depending on how early a passenger bought the ticket.
