The Imo State Commissioner of Finance, Deacon Okafor John, and the Accountant General of the state, Eche Ezenna George, Wednesday, were arrested by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), for fraud related offences. SaharaReporters learnt that the arrest of the two men may not be unconnected with a loan transaction from Zenith Bank totaling N47bn. The duo have been transferred to Abuja where they are currently being quizzed.
