Governor Babatunde Raji Fashola of Lagos State has defended the introduction of Chinese Language or Mandarin into government schools saying that it would boost the economy of the state in the nearest future. Fashola according to The Daily Post newspaper, said that the rate at which the world is tilting in favour of China has made it imperative for Lagos state to move in line with global challenge.
