According to The Citizen newspaper, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), has seized 48 choice properties belonging to a former governor of Bayelsa State, Mr Timpre Sylva. Spokesperson for EFCC spokesman, Mr. Wilson Uwujaren, said the interim forfeiture of the houses which are in exclusive neighbourhoods in Abuja, was informed by a court order granted by Justice A. R Mohammed last December.
