No fewer than 23 persons, Wednesday, were killed following an outbreak of fresh communal violence between the Fulani and Tarok in Wase Local Government Area of the Plateau State. Nigerian Tribune newspaper reports that the violence erupted when the corpse of a young man suspected to be of Tarok stock was found in a farmland in Dumpar village within the local government area. The discovery was said to have provoked a reprisal in which a total of 23 people were killed.
