Former President Olusegun Obasanjo, Wednesday, said if not for providence, he would have been a dead man in the fire that gutted some parts of his residence last week in Abeokuta, Ogun State. According to The Nation newspaper, Obasanjo said that the fire, which occurred in the office of his private secretary, resulted in a thick smoke that covered his bedroom, adding that if it had happened at night, he would have been a dead person now.
