Just a couple of days ago, there were reports that an Iranian terror cell existed in Lagos State. In another confirmed report by the SUNDAY PUNCH, security agents are presently trailing the whereabouts of three foreign terror cells they believe exist within the country.

A senior security official who spoke on anonymity to a correspondent of the PUNCH Newspaper on Friday mentioned that the sponsors of these terror cells were actually from Somalia, Sudan and Yemen, but investigations were still on-going as to whether the sponsors are non-state entities or if they were state entities. He also added that these terror cells are made up of four operators, who are believed to be residing in these countries mentioned, and that they were similar to the Iranian terror cell found out last week.
