The Bayelsa State Commissioner of Police, Mr. Kingsley Omire, Thursday, confirmed that the Korean owners of Hyundai Heavy industries paid a N30 milion ransom for the release of four of their workers who were abducted at the company in Okpoama, Brass Local Government Area of the state. Omire added that the company paid the ransom without consulting the police.
