Mallam Bolaji Abdullahi, the Minister of Sports and the Chairman of the National Sports Commission was all praises for the Super Eagles for the fantastic performance against the Ivorien Elephants during the quarter finals of the AFCON tournament, yesterday.

Mallam Abduallahi proudly said that the Eagles victory is simply an indication that we’re still a force to reckon with in African football, and also implored the team to maintain the same spirit and determination against the Eagles of Mali in the next match.

“I have no doubt that with the level of play I saw today they have the capacity to get to the final of the tournament and even win the tournament.”
