Ali Jalingo, a Republic of Niger national, and kingpin of dreaded Islamist sect, Boko Haram, Sunday, narrowly escaped from security operatives in Gboko town, Gboko Local Government Area of Benue State. Jalingo was said to have slipped from the dragnet of security operatives who had stormed his house at about 3.00 a.m in search of him. The Daily Post newspaper, said that the suspect was declared wanted in connection with various bombings in Borno and other parts of Northern Nigeria.
