Major opposition groups in the country, Wednesday, opposed the call made by the Sultan of Sokoto, Sa’ad Muhammed, requesting that the Federal Government grant amnesty to all armed groups in the country, including extremist Islamist sect, Boko Haram. The Punch newspaper reports that pan-Yoruba group, Afenifere; and youth wing of Ndigbo kicked against the Sultan Muhammad Sa’ad Abubakar’s call which they described as unfortunate and outrageous.
