According to SaharaReporter, a South African court, Monday, convicted former leader of the Movement for the Emancipation of the Niger Delta, Mr. Henry Okah of masterminding the 2010 Independence Day car bombing which killed 12 people. Okah was convicted by Johannesburg High Court Judge Neels Claassen on charges ranging from conspiracy to commit terrorism to detonating explosives. In his rulings, Judge Claassen said “I have come to the conclusion that the state proved beyond reasonable doubt the guilt of the accused.”
