US Report Predicts Nigeria Among Global Economic Powers in 2030

A report by United States’ National Intelligence Council (NIC), has predicted that Nigeria could join China and other economic super powers in shaping the global economic affairs by the year 2030. The Vanguard newspaper reports that the NIC report, which is an articulation of expertise opinion from the US intelligence community, listed India, Brazil,  Colombia , Indonesia , Nigeria , South Africa and Turkey as very important to the global economy.

    Nigeria will certainly join the economic super powers in shaping the global economic affairs within 17 years, if we begin now to do the right things and take the right steps at developing our human capital and building our infrastructure in power, transportation, agriculture, ICT and others.
