The national leadership of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has ordered its Osun State chapter to refund the money collected from governorship aspirants for the 2011 nomination forms for governorship race, saying that it has not been authorised to sell forms.
Fifteen aspirants, including Senator Iyiola Omisore, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode, Honourable Gbenga Onigbogi, Ambassador Segun Bamigbetan, Chief Remi Olowu, Mr. Diran Odeyemi and Chief Femi Alafe-Aluko, have reportedly paid and picked the nomination forms for the governorship race.
However, the party leadership, in Abuja, on Tuesday, said it was not aware that the state branch had begun preparations for the election because the national leadership had not reached a decision of the commencement of such activities.
It, therefore, advised the officials to return the money collected from all the aspirants.
