Aondoakaa, Akunyili clash over Yar’Adua – The Nation

February 8, 2010 by Bunmi Awolusi

Ministers are poised for a showdown over Prof. Dora Akunyili’s memo for President Umaru Yar’Adua to hand over to Vice President Goodluck Jonathan.

A taste of what to expect at Wednesday’s Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting emerged yesterday, with Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister of Justice Michael Aondoakaa (SAN) accusing the Information and Communication Minister of “trying to make herself an angel and a cheap hero”.

But Mrs Akunyili vowed not to succumb to “cheap blackmail”, cautioning that “those who live in glass houses should not throw stones”.

Mrs Akunyili’s memo is prejudicial and subjudice because there is a case before the Court of Appeal on the issue, Aondoakaa said.

The Minister described Mrs Akunyili as a self-seeking office holder who wants to make herself a cheap hero.

The FORMER AGF (he does not even deserve this title) displays the level of his stupidity whenever he opens his mouth. and he keeps opening it. can someone please tell him to shut up! and remain so. he has embarrassed us enough. nincompoop

The AGF has always been the major problem that this country is experiencing, a very corrupt man to the core who never have the interest of this nation at heart but his own and his cohorts interest to protect. one day he will surely pay for all this confusion that he is causing this nation

I think the A.G.F is right, because the Hon. Information Minister has been there since this whole thing started and she was silent. Now that time is seriously ticking she want to become a hero!!. Also to the Hon. A.G.F, I just hope he knows what he is doing! an not just pretending that the case is before the court of appeal, because we all know that Nigeria is in his hands by conduct. I humbly think they are all disappointments to Nigeria ie The N.A & F.E.C

Aondoakaa ... you’ve enclosed your conscience in da dungeon of corruption, where is your love for those black children in da ghettos but I tell you what? A time will soon come, check that clock on the wall if not like Abacha surely be like Nebuchadnezzar.

The man AANDOOKA IS the worst Disgrace to the Midle belt, God will judge him instead of standing for a good cause he is feeling frustrated he has had his chance and he has lost it. Nigeria will remember him as the most frustrated AG ever in history.

God bless MAMA Dora it should her work in NAFDAC was not a fluke,Its her remaining in this government that is taking the shine off her very good nature. God will give her strength.

    We LOVE YOU DORA

luckily for him he is in abuja I would have given him a dirty slap, the fact remains that she has stood up to be counted it does not matter if it is for cheap publicity or not,but history will always remember him as the must fruadulant AG who ever occuppied that position

Aondoakaa must be very stupid. Is he blind. If i can vividly recall, the rule of law is one of president Umarus' agenda. Why is it so hard for him to respect his own point of agenda? Akunyili is only saying what needs to be said and what others are afraid of.....,the truth.
