CBN Governor: ‘We’ll Not Hesitate to Reject Sanusi If…’ – Thisday

The Senate yesterday served the Presidency notice that it would not hesitate to reject the nomination of Mr. Sanusi Lamido Sanusi for the position of Governor of Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) if he was found to be unworthy.
Briefing Senate Correspondents in Abuja at the end of plenary, Chairman of the Senate Committee on Information and Media, Senator Ayogu Eze, said the Senate decided to screen Sanusi today in order to forestall any precarious situation that might arise.
