December 3, 2009 by Bunmi Awolusi

About 77 days after he regained freedom, after Justice Dan Abutu of the Federal High Court, Lagos granted him bail on September 15, the judge yesterday ordered that Mr. Okey Nwosu, sacked Managing Director of Finbank Plc, be remanded in the custody of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

Nwosu and three other directors of the bank- Dayo Famoroti, Danjuma Ocholi and Agnes Ebubedike are to remain in custody pending their ability to meet the conditions attached to the bail granted them by Justice Abutu.

They were arraigned on a 90 count charge filed by the EFCC. The commission, represented by Mr. Rotimi Jacobs, withdrew an earlier charge filed against Nwosu, on which he was arraigned on August 31, this year.

Nwosu was earlier granted bail on September 15 which he perfected on September 17.
