FG appoints 15 new permsecs – Daily Trust

Fifteen new permanent secretaries have been appointed to replace those who retired under the new policy on tenure for top civil servants and also to fill other slots.
Nine of the new officials filled vacancies in states hitherto not represented while the six others are appointed to represent the geo-political zones, according to a statement yesterday in Abuja from the office of the Head of Service of the Federation Stephen Oronsaye.
Those representing states with vacancies are Umar Baba (Bauchi), Sheik Goni Musa (Borno), Josephine Awosika (Delta), Mohammed Lawal (Jigawa), Abdulkadir Ahmed (Kaduna), Olukorede Willoughby (Lagos), Abimbola Odusote (Ogun), Mohammed Sambo Bashar (Sokoto) and Aliyu Salihu Gusau (Zamfara).
Officials representing the six geo-political zones are Dr. Ibrahim Jalo Daudu (North-East), Nathaniel Olorunfemi (North-Central), Mahe Ibrahim Gaya (North-West), Zikora Ozodinobi (South-East), Nkese Ene-Ita (South-South) and BintaBamidele (South-West).
