Ibori: UK releases list of witnesses – The Nation

The London Police yesterday released names of 14 witnesses in the money laundering case against three associates of former Delta State Governor James Ibori.
The witnesses are from the Nigerian Police, Code of Conduct Bureau (CCB) and Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
They are: Superintendent Bello of the Nigerian Police, CCB’s Mustapha Baba, Inspector Sunday Musa, EFCC’s Stephen Falamo, Omoniyi Runsewe of Countrywide Paymasters, Enitan Sowole of Menkat Limited and Godwin Elemelu.
Others are CCB’s Habila Anderifun, Godfrey Ike of the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC), Eddie Egbumokei of A & C Engineering, Gilbert Eneh, Anekwe Godwin, Stephen Kutelu and Taiwo Adedeji.
A letter by DC John McDonald of the proceeds of Corruption Unit, New Scotland Yard, London, said the witnesses are required to assist the prosecution in proving its case against the accused.
The accused are Christie Ibori-Ibie, Bimpe Pogoson and Udoramaka Onuigbo-Okoronkwo.
