Mark urges security operatives to dismantle cartels – Daily Trust

Senate President David Mark has charged security operatives to put necessary measures to dismantle the cartels in the oil, energy and transportation sectors which are holding the nation to ransom in order to ease the pains of Nigerians.
Senator Mark gave the charge while addressing participants of the Executive Intelligence Management Course 2 at the Institute for Security Studies, Lower Usman dam, Bwari Abuja, said dismantling the cartels and cabals frustrating the efforts of government in making the sectors perform optimally for the good citizenry has become paramount if Nigeria must make progress.
He said corruption must be tackled in all fronts because it remains one of the major drawbacks to the nation’s quest for development.
