All is now set for the resettlement of over 9,000 refugees from some war-torn African countries in Taraba State.
The refugees from the Democratic Republic of Congo, Rwanda, Sudan, Chad and others will be settled in Zing Local Council of the state.
The Guardian learnt that the refugees would soon be flown into the state from different parts of the country.
After assessing the site yesterday, the Federal High Commissioner for Refugees, Hadiza Sani Kangiwa, told journalists that the Nigeria Centre For Refugees (NCFR) and the United Nations High Commission for Refugees (UNHCR) were determined to ensure good living conditions for the International Displaced Persons (IDPs).
