Pa Soludo’s kidnappers want dollars ransom – Tribune

Abductors of Pa Simeon Soludo, father of erstwhile Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) governor, Professor Chukwuma Soludo, may have changed their ransom from naira to dollars equivalent. Chukwuma Soludo, may have changed their ransom from naira to dollars equivalent.

The kidnappers had demanded N500 million ransom to effect the release of the septuagenarian.

However, a family source told Nigerian Tribune on Thursday night, that the kidnappers, who demanded N500 million ransom, had instructed the family to pay the ransom in dollars and bring it to an undisclosed location.

But it is not clear if the Soludos, who have been holding series of meetings on how to get their patriarch freed, have agreed to the kidnappers’ dollars ransom demand.
